Questions
How do I get my doctor to keep the gender a secret?
Open GenderEnvelope.com at your scan, tap Start and hand your phone to your doctor or ultrasound tech. They tap Boy or Girl and seal it. The screen never shows the answer, so you can safely take your phone back.
Is this a digital gender reveal envelope?
Yes, it replaces the paper envelope. Instead of carrying an envelope to the bakery, you just send a link and a PIN.
Can the doctor double-check before it's locked?
Yes. Until a PIN is set, the doctor can tap "Double-check". A pop-up asks for confirmation first so nobody sees it by accident.
Do I need an account?
No accounts, no sign-up, no app. The sealed answer lives inside the link itself. We don't store it anywhere.
How long does the link last?
3 months. After that the link shows that the envelope has expired instead of opening.
What if I forget the PIN?
The PIN isn't stored anywhere, so it can't be recovered. It's included in the message you shared, so check that chat, or ask the person who sent you the link.
Is it really secret?
It's as secret as a paper envelope: anyone with the link and the PIN can open it. Only share both with people you trust.
